Quick Knock On Centennial Basement
April 25, 2008 ~ At Noon Littleton Fire Communications alerted units to a reported structure fire in the 7400 Block of South Albion Street. The RP advised there was a smoke odor in the area of a home and smoke conditions inside. First arriving Engine 14 found a single story residence with nothing showing. As additional units were pulling on scene, smoke became visible from an upper window, crews from 14, 15 & 12 entered the home and began a search. Several animals were found and brought safely outside; a basement fire was quickly located and knocked down. All searches proved negative, no injuries were reported and an investigator was called to the scene.
