Belleview Storage Unit Fire
July 23, 2008 ~ At 1553 Littleton Firefighters were called to Public Storage at 5001 South Windermere Street for a reported structure fire. First due Engine 11 found a large one story strip of storage units with fire showing from the rear and moderate smoke from the attic. Crews worked for 20 minutes opening up, venting the roof and knocking the attic fire. Salvage operations also took place to preserve as many belongings as possible. No injuries were reported and only minimal damage was sustained to the interior of the units.
