3 Alarms Go To Work In South Metro

1/13/08 - Just after 1700 hours on Sunday MetCom received multiple reports of heavy smoke pouring from the roof a building at the intersection of Dry Creek Road & Fulton Street. Shortly after the first alarm units went enroute a second alarm was transmitted. First due Engine 33 arrived to find a three story multiple dwelling under construction with heavy smoke showing from the top and flames through the roof. Defensive operations began immediately and a third alarm was transmitted. Multiple companies worked through the night and prevented any fire spread to exposures, no one was injured and the cause was determined to be a salamander.
