Engine 17 vs Passenger Car Accident
March 4, 2008 ~ Just after 1130 Littleton Engine 17 was responding to a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries in the 9500 block of South University. Engine 17 was driving west bound on University Code 3 when a vehicle ran the intersection heading south on Cresthill Lane. The Engine Company was unable to stop quickly enough and struck the car in the middle of the intersection. The driver and only occupant of the vehicle was immediately treated on scene by the crew of Engine 17 and transported by Action Care Ambulance. A Littleton Firefighter was also taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
