Head On With One Pinned On Hampden
June 17, 2008 ~ In the mid morning South Metro and Englewood Firefighters were called to Hampden Avenue just east of University for an unknown injury accident. First due Engine 38 arrived to find a three vehicle MVA with heavy damage to one car. A quick size up was completed and an additional Medic unit (33) & a truck company (32) were requested for extrication. The crew from 38 was able to extricate the pinned driver of one car just prior to the arrival of Ladder 32, two patients were transported from the scene.
