3 Grabs & Fast Knock By Englewood
June 2, 2008 ~ In the early afternoon units in the 2nd Battalion were alerted to the 2900 block of South Lipan Street for a single report of smoke coming from the windows of a home. First due Squad 22 arrived to find a single wide trailer home with a light smoke condition and a report of children inside. A rapid primary search was conducted in the smoke filled home, firefighters located & removed 3 children all without injury. A small fire was located and knocked on tank water, companies started picking up within 15 minutes.
