Maplewood Avenue Fire
February 17, 2008 ~ Just before noon Littleton & South Metro Firefighters were called to the 3100 block of east Maplewood Avenue for a reported structure fire. First arriving Engine 37 found a single story residence with nothing showing, upon further investigation smoke was found to be showing from several attic vents. Crews made entry with an attack line and located a heat source in the attic space & began opening up. A small fire was found and quickly extinguished with a water can, all searches were negative, and an investigator was called to the scene.
