MVA With Fire In Morrison
March 23, 2007 ~ West Metro Engine 9 had just cleared a working house fire on Asbury, and was alerted to Bear Creek Lake Park for reported vehicle fire. A small car hit a sign and drove off the road leading to a small engine compartment fire. A ranger arrived on scene first and tried to control the fire spread by using a shovel. The crew from 9's arrived within minutes and pulled their bumper line making a quick knock on the fire. No injuries were reported and no extension to the surrounding vegetation occurred.
