Simms Court Attic Fire

April 1, 2008 ~ In the late afternoon West Metro Firefighters were called to the 4600 block of South Simms Court for a reported structure fire. First arriving Company 12 found light smoke issuing from the attic vents of a two story single family home. The crew from 12 established a water supply, advanced a dry attack line and set up for aerial operations. Upon further investigation a small smoldering fire was found in the attic insulation and extinguished with a water can. Command held Company 12 and all other units were quickly released.
