May 2, 2008 ~ At 18:54 MetCom alerted units the North Battalion to a reported vehicle fire inside a garage in the 4400 block of South Yosemite Court.  First arriving Engine 31 found a two story wood frame home with heavy fire showing from an attatched garage and vehicles on fire in the driveway.  A full group from Denver District 3 also responded and firefighters from both departments went to work on the initial attack.  A knock down was made on the garage and the extent of the fire spread became visible as the fire raced through the attic space.  Crews worked for over 30 minutes to bring the fire under control, crews remained on scene through the night overhauling and hitting hot spots.
